OVERVIEW

The Rutgers University Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis (CRSSA) and the NJ Office of Information Technology will host a LiDAR workshop on October 17, 2007. In order to accomodate participants in both northern and southern New Jersey, the workshop will be held simutaneously at two separate locations: one at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and the other at the Jacques Cousteau Coastal Education Center in Tuckerton, New Jersey.

Objective: To introduce public sector personnel to LiDAR remote sensing technology, inform them of the different types of LiDAR data, processing software, and practical applications.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Registration is limited to public sector and non-profit decision makers and geospatial practitioners in state, county, municipal, tribal, and regional governments, emergency management, environmental commissions, and watershed associations in New Jersey.
